Photographs from a life spent paying attention — Oahu, the Pacific, and the world beyond.
I write because something in me is compelled to witness and record the ancient dance between light and darkness — the forces that underpin the human experience. I wander through mystery, divinity, beauty, and horror — a witness to what is. I write and see the world as a spiritual man seeking truth — honoring the fleeting as life carries me through history's endless light.
I'm a Navy veteran, husband, and father of two daughters, living on Oahu. I began as a teenager, pulled by some unnamed force toward words and drawing. I carried that forward as a photographer aboard aircraft carriers, learning to see the poetry of life through a lens. My instinct has remained the same: pay attention. Bear witness. Don't look away — truth deserves to be recorded by an open heart and a clear mind, for those who come after.
